WHERE TO EAT / SLEEP:

Lugano is a very expensive city, think about it before booking a hotel, since in 20min you can sleep at the cheapest prices in Italy. The same theme applies to food, I’ll give you an example, a McDonald menu can cost you € 19. Check my post “Switzerland food guide

WHAT TO SEE 1 DAY IN LUGANO:

The city does not offer many monuments, but a walk is mandatory if you pass them. You can start walking through the Belvedere Gardens, then enter the center and take a stroll through its luxurious shops. The lake offers some activities in the water, like rent a boat o kayak.

TIPS TIME !! In case you want to shop for big brands I suggest you go from Mendrisio and stop at Foxtown. It is only 30min from Lugano.

Finally, I recommend you enjoy the Civic Park, a splendor of park thanks to its tulips (April is the month of flowering). Do not miss it !!

Our daily tour is over, but if you’re in the area do not miss the post on 3 days at Como Lake. Bye travelers.
