Hostal Jume: My hotel in Mahon

Menorca is an incredible island, it’s capital, Mahon deserves to be visited by sleeping in a good hotel, such as The Hostal Jume. To fully organize your trip to Menorca, it is best to sleep in the same hotel and rent a car. The island is not very big, in 40km from Mahon you can reach Ciutadella. HOW TO GET TO HOSTEL JUME

The hostel is very easy to reach, it is located in the center and only 200m from the Cathedral and the main square. Within minutes you will be at the market and in the best restaurants in the city. From the airport, if you have not rented a car, it is 1km from the bus station that connects Mahon to the airport.

Parking is € 10 per day, but I recommend parking at 400 in a public car park called “Sinia d’Es Cuc” (€ 0.20 per hour). I left the rental car for 4 days and it was very comfortable.

ROOMS & SERVICES

The Hostel Jume is simple but clean, the rooms are cleaned every day, and the bed is very comfortable. Price per room 60/70 € per night, a double standard. Air conditioning, television, towels, and private bathroom.

Reception 24h, luggage storage, excellent relaxation areas, Hostel Jume is comfortable and practical for every type of trip and guest. Breakfast is very varied, as salty as it is sweet. The only negative point is the wifi in the common areas, it’s not great.
