HOW TO GET TO LISBON:
Lisbon airport is located 30km from the city center, easily reachable by various means, the L1 metro line (blue) arrives at Terminal 1, which is where you will most certainly arrive. The price of the metro is 1,45€ in 20min you will be in the city center.

Aerobus is available, 10€ approx per person, it takes 25/30min to reach the city center. If you choose the taxi, I paid 13€ but it was very early in the morning (cause transport starts from 6/7 am) from the center to terminal 2.

CARRIS/METRO:
Once you are in the center, you are spoiled for choice. It all depends on if you want to buy the Lisbon Pass, in this case, you will have unlimited travel with metro/bus/tram and many lifts in the city.

TRAM:
Tram 15E, one of the modern “electric”, take it from Cais do Sodré to Belem, so it is a route very used by tourists to get around the most monumental area of Lisbon. Watch out is always full of tourists.
Also interesting are the trams of tram 25, which leaves Campo de Ourique and passes through Estrela, Lapa and Plaza del Comercio until arriving at Alfama; tram 18, which departs from Rua da Aalfândega, passes through Plaza del Comercio and reaches Ajuda Palace and tram 12, which leaves from Figueira Square and Martim Moniz and makes a short tour of Alfama. The elevador da Bica Route: Rua de São Paulo (Rua Duarte Belo) to Largo de Calhariz.

WHERE TO SLEEP:
Lisbon is a fairly large city, and very safe, there are no neighborhoods that I advise against. But always try to book accommodation near a metro, especially if you have a few days to visit the city. Keep in mind that the east of the city (where the Sao Jorge castle is located) has more slopes so you will always find a decent but also a climb.
