DAY1 WESTSIDE
Now that we know how to get to the city, let’s start immediately from one of the most visited attractions of Lisbon, the Sao Jorge Castle is a Moorish castle occupying a commanding hilltop overlooking the historic center of the Portuguese city of Lisbon and Tagus River. Going down from the castle, we can visit the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora, and its famous Azulejos, it is not very known by tourists, so I know you will like it even more. Price € 5 per adult.
Once in the area, close to the Monastery, there is the Pantheon (free entrance with Lisboa card), going back to the city center pass through the Santa Lucia Observatory is beautiful don’t miss it.
This neighborhood his called Alfama, visit the area is one of the oldest neighborhood in the city, where there is the famous Lisbon Cathedral.
DAY2 BELEM
On the second day, we go to the north area of the city, Belem. Impossible not to make the first stop at the most famous pastry shop in the country, sure there is a queue waiting for you, but it will be worth it. Free Walking Tour of Belem
Once you’ve tried the famous Pasteis de Belem we go to the Jerónimos Monastery, (10€, free entrance with Lisboa card). It was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, along with the nearby Belém Tower, in 1983, which we will visit after that.
In the same area, there is the MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture, Technology) and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument to the Discoveries), a beautiful tower, you can go inside (7€, 30% with the Lisboa card).

DAY3 EASTSIDE
Our tour today starts at Rossio square, where we can admire the D. Maria II National Theater. Before going to the center, pass by the Praza de Sao Domingos, and stop for a shot of Ginja, at any time of day you will find the bar a Ginjinha open.
Now we can head towards the Santa Justa elevator, if there is a long queue, I suggest you go up by walk to the Convento do Carmo and then go down with the elevator (there is no queue to go down). Once you get on the terrace of Santa Justa, you will have a fairly wide view of the city.
Once you get off, go to the Arch of the Via Augusta and the Commerce Place, the most important square of the city, built where once there was the royal palace before being destroyed by the earthquake. We set off uphill and go to the Luis Camoes plaza and then to the garden of San Pedro de Alcantara and its splendid terrace.
In the area if you want, you have two Lifts, Elevador da Gloria and Elevador do Lavra, info on prices and timetables.
Finally, if there is still time take a ride to the park of Edward VII even if it remains a bit outside the city center, or go to the Martim Moniz square, is always full of terraces and street food especially good for the evening.

Portuguese cuisine is not only famous for its specialty bacalhau, but for very tasty and caloric cuisine. I recommend you some restaurant in the city:
- Cerveceria Ramiro = a long queue always, but you have to definitely try it!! and remember to take the number and they will call you.
- BA Wine Bar do Bairro Alto = a good winery, not expensive
- Há Tapas no Mercado!!! = good and cheap
- Cais ao Mar = like Ramiro but less touristic
- Petisqueira Conqvistador = lovely people and great food
- Pastelaria Alcôa = so sweet and so good, try some of his specialties
