10 days Greece Itinerary

Greece is a beautiful country, but the infinite number of islands that make up its archipelagos can confuse ideas. Here my 10 days Greece Itinerary, passing through Athens, to Milos and finish at Mykonos.

10 DAYS GREECE ITINERARY

This post I hope will help you to plan your trip to Greece as best as you could. Sometimes organizing a trip is the fun part, but not if we are talking about Greece.

The second point you need to consider is how many days you have available. Islands such as Corfú, Rhodes, and Crete should be visited one at a time for the distance they have from Athens, which is the point of connection. While if you choose the Cyclades (Milos, Mykonos, Santorini, Naxos, Ios), in 10 days you can visit 2 or 3 islands without problems.

DAY 1-3 ATHENS

Athens remains one of the European cities that nowadays lives on tourism thanks to its great tourist potential but which still does not convince everyone. Athens dominates the Attica region and is one of the world’s oldest cities, with its recorded history spanning over 3,400 years. Athens is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Acropolis of Athens and the medieval Daphni Monastery. DAY 3- 7 MILOS

From Athens to Milos I have chosen Seajets ferry (I hate planes), € 57 and no more than 3 hours of travel. In the middle of the Egea sea, there is Milos, a pleasant discovery a little bit savage and romantic. It is a very small Greek island but with a lot of potentials and fortunately still quite wild and little exploited by tourists. Milos is the southwesternmost island in the Cyclades group, famous for the statue of Aphrodite. DAY 7-10 MYKONOS

I arriving in Mykonos from Milos choosing Hellenic ferry, very cheap but very slow, 8h / 20 €. One of the most fashionable Greek islands, famous for its sunsets, nightlife, crystal clear beaches, and its prices are not too accessible. It owes its fame to the beauty of its capital, Chora, to its white houses of narrow and intimate passages, as well as to its numerous beaches of great quality. It is a very visited island, with a very accentuated and crazy nightlife. Read more here…
