Casa Matilda is just 4 km from La Bisbal d’Empordà, a town famous for its colorful ceramics. The location and the attention by the owners are amazing, is a really relaxing place, and Girona is a 30-minute drive away.

Built with stone in the 15th century, and completely restored, it retains the original charm of its architecture with modern details in each of the rooms. Part of the house is above the Portal de Santa Maria, the eastern gate of the city.

The country-style rooms at Casa Matilda are equipped with a flat-screen TV, minibar and bathroom with free toiletries. Some rooms include a patio or terrace with views of the village.

The medieval village of Corçà is located between Girona and the Costa Brava. You can enjoy the tranquility of life in the wonderful surroundings of the Baix Empordá. The beaches of L’Estartit and Palafrugell are a 30-minute drive away on the Costa Brava.

Only 4km from the B&B there is The Gala Dalí Castle in Púbol, open to the public since 1996. The house museum allows you to discover a medieval building where Salvador Dalí materialized an overflowing creative effort thinking of a person, Gala.

Talking about Dalí, Figueres and Girona are very close to Corça, so you can visit by a day trip.
