Boscareto Resort & Spa: My hotel in Langhe

Between the Langhe vineyards, there is the Boscareto Resort & Spa, a wonderful 5-star hotel, with all the comforts including spa and swimming pools. If you haven’t read my article on Langhe in 3 days yet, you can find it here.

HOW TO GET TO BOSCARETO RESORT

Boscareto Resort is located at 5km from Serralunga d’Alba, a village included in Langhe area. Langhe are located in the Italian region Piedmont, 50km southeast of Turin and about 40km northeast of Cuneo. The nearest airport is Turin, while Milan Malpensa is located at 138km.

You need to rent a car to visit the area, you can do it directly at the airport (prices are lower). Visiting the Langhe with public transport is not impossible. You can arrive until Alba by train, and then use public buses that circulate around the area, but I do not recommend it for time and time.

ROOMS & SERVICES

The hotel offers a range of typical services for a 5 * L, the rooms range from € 270 in low season. In the room, you will find air dryer, a scale, bath products (less toothbrush and toothpaste) and flip flops to be able to go to the spa area. The view of the room is spectacular, you are always surrounded by vineyards.

The Spa area has an indoor pool, and a whirlpool, sauna and steam room. In the relaxation area, you can book a massage (starting from € 70) or a beauty treatment. I recommend a message they are really relaxing and last 1 hour, with tea and dried fruits.

RESTAURANT

The breakfast is spectacular, the best I have experienced in my life. You’ll find an immense variety of sweet and savory products, apart from natural orange juice and freshly prepared smoothies. Cheeses, jams, and creams of all kinds, croissants handmade by their chef.

Inside the hotel is the La Rei restaurant, 1 * Michelin, local but creative cuisine. The 5-course menu costs € 80, and the 7-course menu costs € 100. Otherwise, you can take the car and dinner in Serralunga d’Alba which is near and cheaper.

THE LANGHE

The Langhe is a hilly area in Piedmont, northern Italy, inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 2004. The area apart from being famous for its vineyards from which Barolo is produced is famous for its castles. The green of the vineyards and the brown of the castles will make you fall in love with this area. Read my post “Langhe in 3 days.”
